I got flexirods for my birthday and I could not wait to try them.

I have straight, thick hair that NEVER holds curl!! EVER!! No matter how much mousse, hair spray, gel I put in, it never holds. Living in Florida where it's humid also does not help!! But I wanted to give these a try.

Treating Hair Fall with Coffee

I have been having a horrible time lately with my hair coming out when I wash it and when I comb it. It had really gotten to be quite disturbing. I am 42 years old and I am quite sure I am at the beginning of early menopause and as I have read, hair fall is a symptom of menopause.

What to do with leftover coconut milk

I started using coconut milk in my hair the other day and it is luxury at its finest!! Think all those shampoo commercials where the women all but climax over their shampoo session, and come out with full, hydrated, bouncy hair. . . That's me now with a $2 can of coconut milk. But what am I going to do with the left over milk? Copper Brown Henna from ColorLab

This is my review of Copper Brown Henna from HCL. I can not tell you how excited I was when I got home today. So excited my product arrived, I couldn't wait to get my grubby little self covered in it.

It comes in these cute little foil packages, complete with everything you need to get going. Gloves, shower cap, and henna. I have always used another brand  that you have to cure overnight, but this from HCL is mix and go!! Only water, no tea, vinegar,or lemon juice. HOOOORAAAAY!!!

Let's get started with henna:

Argan Oil for Shiny Hair

I have been using Argan oil for many months now and I must say I have seen a huge difference. I have not been kind to my hair over the years. I have colored, bleached, heat styled, flat ironed and subjected my hair to more Florida sunshine than you can imagine. Getting on in years, I have realized, its all of these things that make it necessary for me to use so much product trying to hide the damage.
